At the bottom of the Sichuan province basin, the tuojiang river is across. In the middle of the long tuojiang river, there is a boat city—zizhong, which is in shape of up at both side and plat at the middle. The leave nerve painting bourns in zizhong. The inner beautiful scene and deep culture laying provides continuous supply.

Zizhong, belong to neijiang city of Sichuan province, is the only provincial historic culture famous city in the chengyu highway. From west han dynasty wu emperor ruling 6th year( 135 B.C.) till now, it has more than 2000 years. It has a long history of transferring culture and talent. The changhong, confucious’ teacher in spring and autumn period, li tingzha, the economist in Tang Dynasty, Zhao kui, the top scholar in Song Dynasty and Zhao xiong, the primer of south song dynasty, Luo chengxiang, the top scholar of end Qing Dyansty, as well as liruji, lixunfeng, zhengshifeng famous writers are all born here. Zhangdaqian, the Chinese painting master, yupeilun, the chief commander of xinhai reform, are all once taught here.

Neijiang city enjoys many people and culture resources. Libai in Tang Dynast and Huang tingjian in Song Dynasty once stopped and wrote here. So the paintings and books are popular. Nowadays zizhong county is still an important culture town of neijiang city and south Sichuan province. Built in 1950, the zizhong county culture museum is in 3500 square meters, including the art house, art teaching house, office, opera, which is the important culture frontier. Built in 1974, the zizhong couty library is in 170 square meters and 105000 books inside, including science house, reading house, children house, editing house and bookstore. The museum is the comprehensive one, including 309 pcs ranging from first, second and third grade of treasure. The zizhong county art writing house always organizes the opera, fiction, poems, sketch and essay seminars and meetings. Besides, there are county writer institution, artist institution and writing institution.

Colorful cultural activity vigorously encouraged the zizhong culture enthusiasm. The people take the history to open the new page with many new works coming out. The leave nerve picture is one of them.
