黄河红柳观光节

　　石嘴山市建市以来，经济取得了较快发展，2002年全市国内生产总值达到58亿元，财政收入3.7亿元。一是经过40年发展，全市初步建起了电力、机械制造、冶金、陶瓷、化工、建材等门类较为齐全的工业体系。二是大中型企业比较集中。市内集中了太西集团、亘元集团、西北奔牛集团、宁夏有色金属冶炼厂、宁夏恒力集团公司、宁夏民族化工集团公司、大荣化工冶金有限公司、大武口发电厂、石嘴山发电厂等一批大中型骨干企业。
