The weather is good today and we
feel very happy. We go to hold the first interview with
Miss Wang who comes from Shanghai to Xiama Forest. We
want to colllect some materials of the forest to design
the web pages.
When we come to the forest, the magnificent gate first
comes into our sight. There is a zoo in the forest with
leopards and lions. All of our team members take a photograph
of ourselves at the gate.
We are guided by the gate keeper to the vice leader of
the forest Mr. Mao who is very young and answers all of
our questions patiently.
We have a further understanding of the forest after the
interview. There are fourteen administrative villages
in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County. There are more than
2480 families with the population of 11.1 thousand and
the area of 35.6 hectares. The forest takes up 62.3% of
the whole area. There are various kinds of wild plants
and animals in the forest with more than 1600 kinds of
wild plants, of which Qinghai spruce is the main species.
If there was no forest, people would not have the sense
of responsibility for protecting the environment. Therefore,
the forest plays a very significant role.
When we come into the specimen room, we are shocked at
the various kinds of specimens. We have never expected
that there are so many kinds of wild plants and animals
in our village. It is really a green base. We should protect
our hometown and let it flourish for ever!
At last, we take a photograph of Mr. Mao and us and go
back home.
Through this interview, we have learned a lot such as
the importance of the forest, how to interview and ask
questions. Our ability to practise has also been improved.
We also find some shortcomings of ourselves such as incomplete
materials and unsystematic questions. |
