| Through the interview to the bureau and the staff of building company, we know that the restoration of the old street is under numerous experts researching and finally come up with “ one axis four districts four points” arrangement to protect the old street. One axis: Generally considering and planning the old street and fengsheng street, it was taken as the axis of historic development of chenghuang temple, wen temple and guandi temple. Four districts:  1 the relic showing districts: this item is built on the basis of Dangeer and forign bank, which shows more citizens and office culture and commercial culture. Centralized the relic governing, showing bureau, Dangeer hall and foreign bank is in order to show the “ small Beijing” city outlooking, citizens life and commercial culture, satisfying tourists and culture need. It is not only the pure leisure items, but also the pure modernization. 2 tour shopping area: this items is located in the center street of old street. When the visitors and customers finished enjoying the displays, Dangeer hall and foreign bank, they may traced upon the significant history , which is unable to forget. So the setting is mainly for the visitors shopping and mainly for the people artifacts. 3 tea leisure area: this area is at the eastern part of the ming and qing dynasty. The twisting ancient road, and flowing water constitute the tea and horse markets. All the setting here is mainly for visitor, citizens leisure service. 4 leisure shopping area: it is located in the fengsheng street, mainly for leisure and shopping. The people style artifact domains the shop. Four points: １.entrance square: To restore the ancient city and old street, we need to rebuild the western city gate and the city wall in 6 m and 150 m from north to south, which separates the entrance square into two parts. The outer setting is the ground part and underground part entrance( contains 100 cars). The inner square serves as the reception part of whole chenghuang temple and old street, providing the service for the customers, such as leisure, stopping and pictures. The main parts is the square, chenghuang temple, parking, gate and torii. 2.Wen temple square Joining the wen temple, from the south to north, from low to high, the temple has the fence around, which making from the surface to the climax in scene. The square set the opening square at the south part of the Wen temple by connecting the old city and new one for the important scene and bridge. Through the ground horizontal and vertical green coating, the characters of the wen temple is stressed, forming the visitors space at the middle part of old street, improving the cultural value and leisure function of wen temple square, and en 3.the old street and eastern city haoshizi the setting of square was dominant with coating and green scene, as the through space of old street and fengsheng street. The seats, opusculum and parking is there. 4.huozu tower square green scene, stone coating and white marble fence works to promote the tower, which characterized the fengsheng street and served as connection points of new and old city. The vehicle parking was designed to put at the eastern part of Huozu tower (it contains 20) At the end of 1990s, when the old city was rebuilt, the tower was buried underground. This time we designed to rebuild the tower and resume its original outlooks by working on the upper part and finalized the significant building in the height of 13.8 meters. |
