Variation of team formation

As intangible cultural heritage, Four-tile Dance has significant meaning. The dance step is natural and plain. The team formation is changing all the time. Let’s introduce several terms of team formation, they are Ning Mahua, Pao Simen and Zou Taiji.

Pao Simen

Four people standing in four quarters, which form a square. The dancers start from a corner and dance around the standing person, and then run around the other three corners in the same way. At the end, they arrive at the starting point. That’s Pao Simen.

Zou Taij

It’s very simple to play Zou Taiji. The dancers walk in “S”, until the first one and last one connects. That is Zou Taiji.

Ning Mahua

A group of people stand in a line, leaving with intervals between each one. Another group of dancers run across the first team in “S” formation, back and forth. The team formation is similar to Chinese traditional food-Mahua.
