She Huo in Dan Geer
Origin
   She Huo,as the oldest custom,has a history of thousands of years.It,originating from ancients' worship of land and fire,was the product of the witchcraft and the totemism in ancient times as well as a religious activity for ancients' worship.She(Chinese:社) refers to the God of the Earth,and Huo(Chinese:火) refers to fire ancestors-the legendary Vulcan,which can drive away evil spirits.And people's worshiping the Land God is aimed at praying for good weather, good harvest, peace and prosperity.

Main Type
   Based on the folk legend and drama stories,She Huo is always shown through a story played by one or a group of characters who shall be with corresponding facial makeup、apparel and torch sticks,and a story is an unabridged She Huo.

   According to performances,She Huo can be divided in to two types,one in modeling form and the other in performance form.The former mainly shows the character sculpt and the craftwork while the latter focuses on the military play.
