      The No.116 cave is 2.7 meter high, 4.2 meter wide. The cave has 2 layers, it looks like a quare form from the outside, however a circular form inside. The hollowed-out work shows sophisitaced technique, which been used on the whole 93 statues in the cave. The most important statue is the Amitabha statue, which displaying the situation of expounding the texts of Buddhism

The No.116 cave

 

      From the style of characters, we can see the cave have influenced by the north of Sichuan. For example, the king statue wearing the shoes made by grass. And the cloth is different from the Buddhism , in the story the Buddha is half naked and in the cave it is showed in a form which break the religion rule, hence it is the one and the only in China. Meanwhile, the statue is decorated between Qian Long king and Guang Xu king in Qing Dynasty. After that the statue have not been decorated , however it still hole that glorious image.

      The No.81 cave is Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, it looks like a human. We can see that niche based on the relief of such a group of image: a woman made the first draft round cake-like bristles, wearing a double-collar valgus-style coat, outside a long skirt, sitting cross-legged, arms adopt a child, left and right side take four wearing collar, bracelets, anklets obesity cute and adorable children, it was more than one child resembling St. ordinary image of women.

The No.81 primary-secondary Cave in Nan Kan

 

      The No.83 cave is a dicephalous Buddha which is classic and is the only high relief carving statue. There are eaves tiles in round form and decorated with flowers on the higher roof. The roof below with round eaves tiles and decorated with flowers in a square form and veiling and wind-bell. Column between the front and side are decorated with flower and geometric-shaped lines jewlary, the front of the decorative flower has four leaves; Central carved a niche within a circular beast foot incense burners, incense burners on each side of a Lions stand stone pedestal, their legs prostrate, angry staring eyes, like to get up rushing toward us.

      The No.60 cave is a statue of Kwan-yin with a female look, who is wearing a silk cloth and showing the beautiful body and a young face. The gesture show a elegant and distinguished woman in Tang Dynasty. The body is plump and healthy, and the mouth is small, a little twisted waist shows the civilization of society in Tang Dynasty that people could consider the line of body is a kind of beauty in life.
