Cangxi County is located at the north of Sichuang Basin, the southern foothill of Qin-Ba Mountain Range, the southern end of Jialinjiang Rive in Guangyuan City, called “the key of Qinglong ” and “protective screen of north Sichuang” in ancient time, named after Cangxi valley. Cangxi County has the history of 1700 years since county was set up in the Taikan year of Western Jin Dynasty,and it is usually called "the Wonderful County of Northern Sichuan". Cangxi County is east to Enyang in Bazhong City, west to Jiange, south to Langzhong, north to Shaohua and Wangcang. By 2014, County area covers 2330 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 24 towns, 15 villages, a population of 790.006, there lived Han,Qiang,Yi,Zang,Miao, Hui and Dong people.
