————General introduction of Bijie City————

    Bijie City, the gateway to the northwest of Guizhou,
is situated at the junction of three provinces–Sichuan,
Yunnan and Guizhou. The population of its ethnic minorities
covers 28 percent, mainly including Yi and Miao.

    Bijie experimental region is a typical karst mountain
areas, high mountains and deep canyon. Much of the Bijie
enjoy a subtropical climate with warm winter, cool summer ,
and an average annual rainfall of 1100 mm. It is a more
suitable place for plants and animals to grow and flourish.
