"Wash three" happens in Hengfang (opposite to positive building). "Wash three" is a kind of traditional custom. On the third day of newborn baby, it is essential to wash it by Chinese medicine, such as Chen’ai, fragrant Lu grass, purple Su, garlic pole etc. In the process, the infant should be washed all the body and well, otherwise, after the kid grows up their skin open wound, shed skin, usually in winter, or the skin will be very rough. This custom is used currently now, for people think this is very important for the kids’future.

 

Congratulation on birthday has no fixed rules. Usually the younger generation entertain guest and just bow toward longevity hall. The god of longevity walks out of the hall to accept the etiquette and gift, in rest time, the son niece generation treat the guests and congratulate health and longevity for their parents. Especially in the feudal period, filial pieties are first in 100 lines. The ancient times, arranging life hall generally is mainly in the middle of hall wall.
