The fourth exhibition hall shows the situation that Zhu De led the army construction, chaired state activities and to return to his hometown to inspect after the founding of the PRC. In September1955, Zhu De was commissioned a captain, and continued to serve as commander in chief of the people's Liberation army. In 1959, Zhu De was elected to the people's Congress Standing Committee, presided over the seventeen years of the National People's Congress work. In 1960, Zhu De returned to his hometown Yilong, who had done a large number of instructions for doing well the construction of the hometown. At three one on the afternoon of July 6, 1976, comrade Zhu De died at the age of 90 in Beijing.
