“One minute’s performance on the stage needs ten years hard work under the stage.” Today, Ma Xiaoping, the famous calligrapher, came to No.1 Middle School and demonstrated his unique “finger calligraphy” for us, which we admired and respected a lot.
In front of the Wenchang pavilion, after preparing paper and ink, Ma put his finger in the ink and was ready to write. He rolled up his sleeves and bent down with his hands combined together and one finger stood out and began to write on the paper. When the ink on one finger was almost exhausted he stood out another finger to take place right now and wrote coherently. Ma Xiaoping’s hand fluttered on the paper and moved lightly and coherently
The characters appeared on the paper with every stoke reaching the designated place in a needy sense of beauty. There are both thick and thin stokes in every character and the characters are appropriate with strength, which is difficult to fulfill when using pens, not even using hands. Every character contains several dozen years of hard work that Ma Xiaoping made.
After reading this scroll of calligraphy, I was drunk in it and making a spiritual tour in the mood of every stroke and it seemed that the black character on the paper was shining .
After demonstrating finger calligraphy, Ma demonstrated his calligraphy with writing brush, which also astonished us and we clicked the tongue in admiration.
When I was drunk again, facing our admiration, Ma said: “it’s noting, if you concentrate your mind and keep practicing, you can also achieve it.”
After hearing that, I was lost in thought, only if you practiced diligently, you could achieve it. However, it couldn’t achieve over night and it required perseverance, patience and determination.I appreciated the calligraphy and understood a reason that will be beneficial in my whole life.
