Cultural Treasure--Ma’s Finger Calligraphy

NO.1 of Neijiang Middle School 2012 on five classes Li mosan

The five thousand years’ culture of Chinese nationality is rich and intense, which natures Chinese people of all ethnic groups. What’s more, the finger calligraphy is the cultural treasure of our Chinese. As a students from a school with hundreds of history, we should understand Chinese culture, impress Chinese culture, spread Chinese culture and extol Chinese culture and that’s what a middle school student who with patriotism should do.
Ma Xiaoping’s finger calligraphy came into the campus, came into the famous school with one hundred years---Neijiang No.1 Middle School. We are much honored to participate in the fingers calligraphy demonstration, in the open ground, although the sun was strong, students’ enthusiasm to observe the demonstration was even stronger. Ma squatted with concentration,?? licking ink with his finger, wrote "Early Spring" on the paper naturally and smoothly like floating cloud and flowing water and he was writing without any hesitation. When he was writing, all in all seemed to have nothing to do with him, at that moment, there was only brush, ink, paper in his world. Only in the realm of being oblivious of himself can he write excellent calligraphy, the character Ma wrote was bold, but was also vivid like dragon moving upward in the air. As the finger cannot sack ink properly, there have been many dry strokes, but it was not failure, it was? ?like a pine trees, though hoarse and dry, but it became more powerful and seemed to show the Chinese people’s moral integrity and moral courage. Ma Xiaoping deserved to be called "master".
“Nan De Hu Tu” which means “it’s folly to be wise” was what Teacher Ma wrote for our school. The characters were gentle, delicate, like a complete jade which was integral whole, mellow and full and wet. The characters appeared in a unique style on the paper, as if accumulated the sentiment of the sun and the moon and hold the Yangtze River's vast, spectacular, continuously flowing, which just exactly corresponded to our school motto, “Take Changjiang as the model, accumulate the sentiment of the sun and the moon."
The ink seemed to dance wonderfully on the paper and the black bamboo ink seemed to be colorful by Ma’ effort. This was the beauty of the studies of Chinese culture. I and several classmates are very honor to have experienced the finger calligraphy. When we saw Teacher Ma’s finger wring on the paper fluently, while we lose control of the fingers on paper and the fingers seemed like runaway horses. We finally realized how much effort Ma has spent!
The soft and mildly side strokes showed the reserve of Chinese people, the subtle and bold horizontal strokes indicated the unsustainable important position of Chinese nation in the world. A small pause in a stroke showcased the rapid development of the whole China. All these above formed a layout of integral whole, built a Chinese nation of prosperity and constituted the Chinese profound culture.
