Chinese nationality has a long history and a rich and deep cultural heritage. Whenever I see the Chinese characters written by writing brush one by one, my heart could not help quivering and felt a warm current. Every Chinese people needs to understand, feel and praise each Chinese character.
There is a Chinese saying said that a person’s moral character can be seen from the characters he write. Therefore, the written Chinese character is an essential part of every Chinese people. Each character has a unique style and bring us to experience the depth and marrow of Chinese culture, to navigate the long process of history.
Chinese calligraphy is a unique art since ancient time, it’s not easy to write and even not easy to master. Since ancient times, our country had many calligraphers, including Wang Xizhi, whose forceful strokes made me wonder. In order to allow students to learn calligraphy and feel the charm of Chinese calligraphy, a calligraphy master was specifically invited to carry out the activity of ?"finger calligraphy into the campus" and his name was Ma Xiaoping.
Ma Xiaoping is a very great man; he can not only use both his two hands to write calligraphy, but also use his fingers to write calligraphy. Before he came, our teacher talked to us about the prizes that he got for his finger calligraphy, after listening, we and we were too impatient to wait for his coming.
Later, the teacher organized our class to come to experience Ma Xiaoping's calligraphy before the Wenchang building and the piece of open space is surrounded by a crown of people. I saw Ma Xiaoping focused his attention talked about what should be paid attention to in finger calligraphy, and then he got prepared for writing. He used a hand to twist the ink, and then lightly dip a few of it and started his performance naturally and smoothly. A few minutes later, a Song for Today was appeared on the xuan paper vitally. After finishing it, he read out of the Song of Today and told us to treasure the present and do not waste time and study hard. Our teachers hand the scrolls of calligraphy which looked like bold and powerful pines and cypresses in the cold on the rope, which immediately caused many people to gather around, everyone tilt their thumbs and praised continuously. Then he went on to write and the ink seemed to perform dazzling dancing on the paper. I was almost drunk when I saw it and? had more admiration for Teacher Ma Xiaoping.
Teacher Ma saw that we were fascinated by the finger calligraphy so that he let us have a try to write it and to experience the charm of calligraphy. When we looked Teacher’s finger writing naturally and smoothly, it seemed quite easy. However, when I dip the ink and began to write, I found that I even cannot control my finger. After writing, I sighed with deep feeling when I saw both my writing and the master’s and Ma must practice hard on calligraphy and had the attainment and achievement in calligraphy today.
At this point, I understand the calligraphy is not easy to achieve results; it relied on tireless efforts and hard practice. The teacher must sway numerous sweats in order to have such fruitful results. I believe that calligraphy will definitely be very widely spread in the near future, so that the whole world will understand it and know that the Oriental dragon is now taking off. The art of calligraphy will certainly be more brilliant.
