In our group interview with the 90-year-old army soldier he told us the story happening at the cangxi in those war months. It was very exciting to hear.

In January 1935, the central red army asked the fourth part to go forward to the jailing river as soon as possible. Then Xu Xiangqian, the general director, was across the mountain along the east of the river, to observe the enemy and look overb the situation. He finally worked out a plan for fighting, deciding to take the tashan bay as the fighting port. This night, at the tanjia yard of commander, the guardians lifted highly the light with the commander, Xu Xiangqian, ordering the fight. He selected 260 soldiers, the water group from all the armies, and collected 300 carpenters and iron workers to rush the boat day and night. In 28th of March, it was dark and windy at night. The ferry time was on. The red team and guerrilla turned on the light to pretend to ferry. By doing this many times, the enemy became lull. The ferry team secretly took 70 boats from the Tashanwan to the other side of the river by the piao without the oar. After fighting the three guardians, they secretly attacked the castle and then fired the sign of succeeding and attacking the enemy fiercely. All the boats started the attack with a lot of smoke and shouting. Suddenly, one bomb hit the boat and soldiers got hurt. The woman soldier, Shi Moyu, living along the Jailing River, fast bandaged the hurt. She paddled the boat across. At the time she arrived at the other side of the river, he was hurt by a bullet with gut coming out. She put the gut inside and went back to the other side….. till the middle of 29th, the red army built many floating bridge to finish the ferry.
