| In the afternoon of Oct 14, some classmates and I went
to Sishang Village and took an interview about local
environmental protection activities. My first impression
of the village was clean and tidy. The sideway of streets
was full of trees and flowers. It was hard to believe
that you are in a rural area. Entering the villagers
committees, we found two sixty-year old grandmas giving
packages of plastic bags to an aunt, who carried a spring
scale in the hand. The aunt said, "9 kg in all."
Then, she recorded the number on a notebook and gave
three bags of washing powder to them. After the aunt
finished her work, we began our interview. |
