The aged woman in the picture is Ms Wang Yan-hua. The
memorial stone behind her is used to memorize the Long March.
In the woman's house, there is a cave dwelling, where Chairman
Mao lived for one night. The aged woman was died in 2001.
Her son-Mr Zhang Xi-jun told us the story. On Oct 7, 1935,
Mao led the Red Army to Xiaochagou Village at night. Wang's
family members killed four sheep to cook meal for them, and
then, a young tall leader lived in her cave dwelling. Finally,
she got to know that he was Mao Ze-dong. In the next morning,
the armies leaved the village and continued the Long March.
