Haixinshan Island

　　Haixinshan Island is located a little south to the center of Qinghai Lake and 25 km away from Avian Islands. It is a long island, with middle part wide and two ends narrow. The whole area is 1014 sqkm, 2.3km long and 0.8 km wide. The highest altitude on the island is 3266m. The island consists of granite and gneiss, with sands as cover. The vegetation cover rate is more than 50%. Standing on the top of Haixinshan Island, you can see the whole appearance of Qinghai Lake and enjoy the natural beautifulness.
