Climate

　　The weather in Qinghai Lake area is typically mild semi-arid steppe climate. Every year, the average temperature is 0°Centigrade. The annual rainfall is 350mm, which mainly centers in May and Jun. The annual daylight hours are more than 3000. As for Qinghai Lake, it’s cool in summer; gets frozen from Nov to next Mar; and melts at the end of Mar. The melting of Qinghai Lake is a wonderful scene, which attracts many tourists.
