People

　　Qinghai Lake area is the inhabitation of herdsmen due to its good natural environment in the history. It’s also densely population area in Qinghai Province, where lives Tibetans, Mongolians, Islamic, Han ethnic group and etc. Mongolians mostly live in the west of that area, where attaches Chaidamu Basin. Tibetans mainly live in Gangcha County, Haiyan County and Gonghe County, which all belong to Tibetan Autonomous State. Most Tibetans and Mongolians live on herding. Islamic people and Han ethnic group live everywhere in Qinghai Lake area. Many Islamic people run a restaurant at the side of the lake. A great number of Han people came for assisting local construction.
