| Heritage National Cultural, Carry Forward The National Arst —— Ma chengyou Today, I felt great honored to join our teacher visiting Grandma Li, a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage-- Tu's coiled embroidery in Huzhu County. Grandma Li's embroidery works broadened our horizon and showed us the greatness and profoundness of the Tu embroidery arts. I also have learned that the Tu embroidery consisted of pulling embroidery, normal embroidery, coiled embroidery, piling embroidery and the others, also the matching colors need to be harmonious that from the light color to the dark one or vise versa. |

That's why she worried about the embroidery arts' being lost. For recent years, under the strong support of government, Grandma Li launched an embroidery training class of over 800 apprentices now. 50-year-old Li Faxiu, has been practiced what she preached to pass on the ancient Tu embroidery craftwork, of which the cultural treasure was also embodied with Grandma Li's somber-anxiety to be carried on and far in the New Era. | ||

Persistent Pursuit, Unremitting Endeavor ——Ma qiuhua Today, I felt great honored to join our teacher visiting Grandma Li, a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage-- Tu's coiled embroidery in Huzhu County. Out of the great passion on embroidery, Grandma Li Faxiu began to study it from eight and until now over forty years passed by, many peers have given up because the time-consuming embroidery failed to earn money for them, but Grandma Li never did this however hard her life was. For example, many girls and women have gone to earn their living in the town, leaving less and less people studying embroidery, which was facing the crisis of being lost. However, Grandma Li was the obvious opposition, persistent on her works which did deeply touch and inspire me. |

| Embroidery make me feel the beauty of arts —— Wang xiaoming Due to the persistent endeavor on embroidery, a perfect answer sheet of so many wonderful works embroidered by Grandma Li was presented in front us. I was so astonished at the embroidery works, the patterns of flowers, birds and people are excessively vivid and lifelike. The greatest gaiety in the world must be nothing but appreciating arts, while the heart-touching ones must be inspired from the dedicated mind, which was also the reason why Grandma's embroidery works were of that great impressiveness. |
