In the "Splendid China" National Embroidery Exhibition, the coiled embroidery artisan Li Faxiu took her Tu coiled embroidery flower belt named “full house” and won the golden prize over the fierce competition. In 1995, she has joint the “Chinese Traditional Techniques Female Experts Operating Performance” held by the Chinese Committee NGO Forum under the 4th World Women Conference. Li Faxiu’s embroidery works, especially her coiled embroideries were highly appreciated by the home and overseas women. Moreover, her embroidery works also were on show of “China Stories” exhibition during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2009 Shanghai World Expo exhibition. In recent years, her works also won prize in the "National Rural Youth Traditional Handworks Competition” held in Fuzhou of Fujian province. In this July, the Provincial Women's Federation came to buy her another coiled embroidery works and indicated they would send those works to the National Women's Federation and the National Museum for collection. During the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, her works were brought to Beijing and gained excellent evaluation.
