Waling along the serene forests , we came to the Taoist Cultural Park , the core of Xiwudang . According to the staff , Taoist Cultural Park covers an area of 18mu , including many well-known places to disseminate Taoism , such as Zhenwu gong , Cihang Hall , Tianshi Hall , Xuanwu Hall , Wenchang Hall and Laojun Hall .

We were amazed at the profound spirit of Taoist culture after seeing the grant building complexe in the Zhenwu Hall . Going into it from the solemn gate , we saw a Bizhao in front us with a vigorous and essective character Dao on each side . Across the Bizhao , there stands Cihang Hall , Zhenwu Hill , Tianshi Hall , and Xuanwu Hall , Wenchang Hall and Laojun Hall on the left and Cangxi Taoist Association and Tourists Center on the right at the back of the tall and bronze pagoda . The tao te ching which are composed of 5000 conpious and fluent sentences centered on the theme of morality and doctrine were written on the two sides of the stone steps . Four huge characters dao fa zi ran are written above tao te ching to illustrate the full essence of Taoism .

As an original chinese religion , Taoism is a rich cultural heritage from our ancestors and the common spiritual fortune of humanity , therefore , Taoism has no boundary between huamn race and between time and space from its quality , forming a profound Taoist cultural system with chinese characteristics based on the thought of health , ?a life?of two?,three?of?Health?,?tertiary?things?,?things?which?have?negative?yin?-yang?,?salt airand?that . Taoism , founded by the Zhang Daoling from Pei in Emporer Period in Donghan Dynasty , respecting the outstanding thinker Laozi in the Spring and Autumn Period as its idea originator , worpping tao te ching as its encyclopedia was regarded as a prestigious and upright religion , named as Wudou dao among the folks . The altar center in Sichuan set by the founder of Taoism , Zhang Daoling , are called zhi . Yuntai mountain , situated at aout 20miles away from Cangxi , is one of the 24 zhi and a important venue for Zhang Daoling to learn and disseminate Taoism and alchemy as well as a center for the later Taoist activities .
