“Red Army” hole
In January 1934, Twenty-sixth division of ninth red army was led by Xu Shiyou began Yinan Battle. Soviet in Yinjiapu
organized MaShiPei, YuanYiTang, DengHongGuang, YuanXueKai, LiHongLong, WangDingShou, ZhangTianYue to weave straw sandals
for soldiers at the front in hillside of Damu Mountain. The guerrilla leader Li Honglong was killed in steep ladder by
enemies on the way of sending the sandals, and buried about 80 meters next to the hole. County District Director Wang
Minggui gladly named it "Red Army hole" after he knew.
